To ensure our success, Madintec must recruit in 2022. Join our team!

Madintec designs and develops high-tech hardware and software solutions dedicated to ocean racing. In particular, we design a particularly high-performance and secure autopilot, adapted for solo sailing. We propose a complete offer for sailing boats, from the processing computer to the actuator control: the MADBrain solution.

We have accompanied our clients to numerous victories in the Ultim, Ocean Fifty (ex-Multi50), Class40 and of course IMOCA classes. In the last Transat Jacques we equipped a third of the boats at the start. At the end of the race, the boats we accompanied occupied two thirds of the podiums. Congratulations to them: Thomas Ruyant, François Gabart, Antoine Carpentier, Erwan Le Roux.

Following these successes, we are faced with an increasing number of clients and must therefore quickly take on new staff.

Technical and commercial offer

In order to keep up with the strong development of our prospects, we are looking to recruit a Business Engineer. The job description is as follows:

  • Keeping an active watch on market developments
  • Open new customer accounts
  • Write commercial and technical proposals
  • Supporting and advising your contacts
  • Follow the sales cycle from A to Z
  • Developing tailor-made offers

See details on this link.

Data science internship

The objective of the mission will be to use the customer data to, firstly, perform operating mode detection. Then to generate a "static" multidimensional mathematical model of the boat's performance. Finally, its dynamic version. A first preliminary work will consist in automatically adjusting the dimension of the model and selecting the influential signals.

Want to combine mathematics, data and racing yachts? Come and discover our need for the beginning of 2022!

Robotics course

Are you looking for an internship and are you a Bachelor or Master student in computer science? You are a dynamic person, attentive and willing to listen to advice. You are curious by nature and you are able to progress quickly in autonomy. You have skills in software development under Linux? You have modelling and design skills (UML)? You master C++ and CMake? Do not hesitate, this internship is for you.

Do you want to participate in the development (via Linux, C++, CMake etc...) of the latest generation of autopilot? Join us in the 2nd quarter of 2022!
