2023 was a year rich in races and successes for the teams we support. 2024 promises to be fabulous. The new year gets off to a strong start with the Arkea Ultim Challenge, and will be rounded off by numerous transatlantic races, culminating in the Vendée Globe. And let's not forget the America's Cup, where several Madintec employees will be taking part.

To meet these many sporting challenges, the development team has prepared a major update with numerous innovations.

To present our new products, we invite you to join us online February 21 at 5:30pm.

What's new in 2024

The development team has been very active over the last few months, and is proud to present the latest innovations and improvements for even greater performance, safety and reliability.

Among the new features, we've designed a new user interface with the main aim of simplifying your life. At a glance, you can see how your MADBrain works. Activate and configure the driver with a single click. This new application is available on the new MFD (MultiFunctionDisplay) displays from Garmin and B&G (Zeus S). You now have access to the whole Madintec universe from your cockpit. Just like the mini650, which benefited from a preview of this version last year.

MADBrain application

In this major update, we have continued to improve the reliability of our ECU. MADBrain now handles a wide range of sensor faults. It automatically handles faults, providing you with a comprehensive diagnosis. Your MADBrain is your guarantee of even greater safety, whether you're on a transatlantic, round-the-world or cruising trip.

Looking back to 2023

MADBrain was once again present on half of the grid, accompanying you to the start line... and to the finish line, where you took two-thirds of the podiums in all classes. Well done!

For many, the race of the year was the Transat Jacques Vabre:

  • François Gabart and Tom Laperche take 2nd place.
  • In the Ocean50, the skippers who put their trust in Madintec swept the podium. Well done Thibault, Quentin, Fabrice, Aymeric, Pierre and Ronan!
  • The IMOCA class also saw a complete podium for sailors equipped with MADBrain. Congratulations to the Ruyant-Lagravière, Richomme-Eliès and Goodchild-Koch duos.
  • Class40 confirmed its position with victory for Ambrogio Beccaria and Nicolas Andrieu and second place for Achille Nebout and Gildas Mahé.

It was the novelty of 2023: our MADBrain Autopilot took the start of the Mini Transat for the first time on three 6.50 minis. Congratulations to Carlos Manera for his second place overall after winning the first leg!

Finish Stage 2 - Saint-François (GUADELOUPE - FR) - Carlos Manera (ESP) 2nd in Stage 2 and 2nd overall in the PROTO category of La Boulangère Mini Transat 2023
